Painter/Polisher – Engineering (Dubai)

About the role

The Engineering department at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Festival City is seeking a skilled Painter/Polisher to maintain and enhance the appearance of hotel interiors and furnishings. You will work on a variety of surfaces, ensuring high‑quality finishes that contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Apply paint, stain, primers, sealers and other finishes to walls, ceilings, furniture and fixtures using brushes, spray guns or rollers.
• Prepare new surfaces by applying primers or sealers and remove old finishes through stripping, sanding or burning.
• Cover surfaces with protective materials and post appropriate signage during work.
• Clean and store paint, tools and equipment after each job.
• Transport tools, equipment and materials (20‑60 kg) across hotel areas.
• Communicate effectively with guests, management and co‑workers.
• Participate in the preventive maintenance programme for hotel facilities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in painting and polishing.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• Willingness to follow Engineering Department policies and safety procedures.
