Payments Specialist – Data Analyst for Delivery Experience

About the role

Amazon Thunder is looking for a Payments Specialist who will also act as a Data Analyst supporting the Delivery Experience and Value‑Added Services teams. Based in the corporate office, you will ensure that our last‑mile delivery partners (DSPs) receive accurate and timely payments while providing data‑driven insights to improve the process.

Key responsibilities

• Create and drive payment processes for DSPs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with finance, OTR, Tax, and Business Control teams.
• Track payment accuracy and timeliness to support business sustainability.
• Interpret data, generate reports, and make business recommendations.
• Collaborate across functional teams and senior stakeholders to implement payment road‑maps.

Required profile

• Advanced SQL skills (mandatory).
• Intermediate Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Experience in accounting, finance, or related fields is a plus.
• Strong written communication and email etiquette.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence processes.
