PCB Operator

About the role

The PCB Operator is responsible for assembling electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will work with a range of surface‑mount and through‑hole equipment to ensure high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble components on PCBs using solder paste printing, SPI, and manual soldering.
• Operate SMT and THP production lines, including Pick & Place, reflow ovens, and automatic inspection systems.
• Perform visual inspections, washing, conformal coating, and functional testing of finished boards.
• Maintain equipment, manage material flow, and ensure compliance with ESD and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in PCB assembly.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read blueprints, job specifications, and PCB loading lists.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify component defects.

Required skills

• SMT and THP processes, Pick & Place, Reflow, SPI, and solder paste printing.
• PCB testing, automatic inspection, washing, and conformal coating.
• Use of soldering stations, hand tools, and knowledge of electronic components and SMD land patterns.
• Understanding of ESD precautions and safety standards.
