People & Development Executive

About the role

The People & Development Executive will support AccorHotel’s HR and employee development initiatives in Abu Dhabi, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, learning, engagement and performance processes while complying with company policies and UAE labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment & onboarding – coordinate recruitment activities, conduct orientations and manage the 30‑60‑90‑day onboarding plan for new hires.
• Learning & development – identify training needs, organise internal and external programmes, maintain training records and support career‑development and succession planning.
• Employee engagement & relations – drive engagement surveys, act as the first point of contact for HR queries and promote an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture.
• Performance management – oversee the annual appraisal cycle, assist managers and employees with goal setting and track development actions.
• HR administration – keep confidential employee records, prepare HR reports, contracts and letters, monitor attendance and leave, and ensure compliance with HR policies and UAE legislation.
• General HR projects – contribute to organisational development initiatives, produce HR metrics for management and support internal communications.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, People Operations or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related discipline (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in HR data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
