Physiotherapy Lecturer – Full‑Time

About the role

The Fatima College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a full‑time Physiotherapy Lecturer to join its academic team. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship within the physiotherapy programme.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and clinical sessions aligned with the physiotherapy curriculum.
• Supervise laboratory and clinical work for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Assess and grade assignments, practical work, and examinations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the field through literature review and conference participation.
• Design, evaluate and revise course content, syllabi and teaching materials.
• Guide students on academic progress, career pathways and professional development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops and community outreach activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Programme.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (PhD or DPT preferred).
• Specialisation in biomechanics, orthopaedic, neuro, cardiopulmonary, paediatric or geriatric physiotherapy is highly valued.
• MOH evaluation or HAAD registration required; registration with home‑country professional body mandatory for non‑UAE applicants.
• Minimum five years of teaching experience; senior positions require over ten years of combined clinical and academic experience.
• Experience with clinical simulation labs and a proven record of working in high‑performing educational institutions.
