About the role

Wood is currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team in the UAE. The role supports offshore projects throughout the full project life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

Provide project planning and progress reporting for assigned offshore projects in line with client rules.
Align planning activities with scope and cost information using an integrated project control approach.
Ensure planning reports accurately reflect project status.
Liaise with Project Management, Engineering & Design, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction teams.
Act as the planning subject‑matter expert for stakeholders.
Contribute project inputs to Integrated Asset Plans.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of FEED/EPC experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
Proven experience with multi‑national, multi‑cultural project teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and HSE awareness.

Required skills

Proficiency in Primavera project planning software.
Experience with project planning and costing applications.
