About the role
The Planning Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and controlling the project schedule to ensure timely delivery in line with client requirements. This role involves monitoring progress, identifying risks and delays, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to keep the project on track.
Key responsibilities
- Review and comment the Baseline Schedule and report to the Controls Manager.
- Monitor contractor’s construction progress against approved schedules and report shortages.
- Validate recovery schedules and ensure adequate manpower and supervision.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and report deficiencies.
- Assess time impact of claims, design changes, and trend notices.
- Participate in weekly progress meetings and monthly executive meetings.
- Assist in preparing monthly progress reports and executive presentations.
Required profile
- Qualified engineer with a BSc or higher.
- 12‑15 years of planning experience on similar projects.
