Planning Manager / Project Scheduler

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager / Project Scheduler to lead planning, scheduling and progress monitoring for construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves coordinating across multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules from planning to completion.
• Review project scope, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and key milestones.
• Identify delays, critical activities, and potential programme risks.
• Prepare progress updates, look‑ahead schedules, and recovery programmes.
• Analyse schedule impacts related to variations, delays, and changes.
• Prepare planning reports and provide recommendations to support timely project delivery.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Construction, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, or programme management.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, critical path analysis, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or large‑scale projects preferred.
