Planning Manager – Real Estate Development

About the role

The Planning Manager will lead the end‑to‑end planning function for real‑estate development projects, overseeing master programmes from concept through handover and ensuring alignment with strategy, timelines and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master programmes covering design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.
• Prepare pre‑tender and post‑tender schedules and review contractor programmes for alignment with milestones.
• Lead planning inputs during design development to ensure feasibility and proper sequencing.
• Monitor progress against baselines, conduct critical‑path and delay analysis and propose mitigation strategies.
• Produce progress reports, dashboards and schedule presentations for senior management.
• Coordinate with design, commercial, procurement and construction teams, as well as consultants and contractors, to ensure programme alignment.
• Maintain consistent planning standards, methodologies and documentation across projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in project planning within real‑estate development, consultancy or contractor environments.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval processes and development timelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex schedules simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capability.
