Plant Engineer

About the role

Crown Holdings is seeking a Plant Engineer for its Dubai manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and execute preventative, predictive and annual maintenance programs for all production equipment.
• Own and maintain the CMMS, ensuring accurate data entry, planning discipline and continuous system improvement.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and external service providers.
• Provide technical assistance during line breakdowns and lead root‑cause investigations.
• Drive equipment performance improvements, cost reductions and standardisation initiatives.
• Support the creation of SOPs, maintenance procedures and engineering documentation.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects related to reliability and maintenance best practices.

Required profile

• Strong background in manufacturing engineering maintenance, preferably with experience on high‑speed can‑making or similar equipment.
• Qualified to HNC/HND or degree level in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Safety‑first mindset with a logical, structured approach to problem solving.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
