Plumber – Hotel Facilities Maintenance

About the role

Join the engineering team of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Dubai as a dedicated plumber. You will be the first point of contact for guest repair requests and ensure the smooth operation of all plumbing and related systems across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and resolve plumbing issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, locate, and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts, and communicate daily activities to incoming shifts.
• Execute basic repairs on plumbing, electrical components, HVAC, and landscaping sprinkler systems.
• Apply Lockout/Tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Carry out minor painting, drywall, and wood‑trim repairs, and ensure thorough clean‑up after each task.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, and energy‑conservation practices.
• Ability to follow safety, security, and company policies, including proper handling of flammable materials.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and respect for guest privacy.
