PMC Construction Manager

About the role

Wood is currently recruiting for an experienced PMC Construction Manager for the Taziz Methanol Project in Abu Dhabi. The position will be based on‑site in Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Directly manage planning and execution of underground civil works, fabrication, transportation, installation and mechanical completion of project components and brownfield modifications.
• Lead construction efforts to ensure compliance with ADNOC procedures, project requirements and shareholder expectations.
• Manage Construction Leaders for on‑island construction and onshore precast activities.
• Champion safety, ensuring contractors and subcontractors meet project safety expectations, policies and procedures.
• Oversee construction planning, execution, and interface with ADNOC to minimise disruption to ongoing production operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (essential).
• Minimum 20 years of experience on large oil and gas projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to work across diverse cultures.
