PMC Lead Static Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMC Lead Static Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of static equipment for a high‑profile client in the oil and gas sector. You will ensure functionality, safety and compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for all mechanical static equipment design and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and relevant codes.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage static equipment design with the EPC contractor, delivering on schedule.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, guaranteeing quality and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in equipment sizing, selection, layout, model and design reviews, and technical workshops.
• Support installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases and interface with ADNOC discipline team leaders and project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical team and interpersonal abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of international codes, standards and ADNOC requirements.
• Proficiency with engineering computer programs and general business software.
• Ability to make independent decisions and solve complex problems.
