PMC Specialist Project Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Specialist Project Engineer to lead and coordinate engineering teams on high‑profile energy projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on planning, executing, and delivering complex technical projects for a major client within the oil, gas and new energies sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and control documents.
• Coordinate with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor project performance, conduct risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and present progress reports and technical documentation to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven track record in managing large‑scale oil and gas or energy projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• In‑depth understanding of upstream, midstream, or downstream engineering processes.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
