PMV Manager – Plant, Machinery & Vehicles

About the role

The PMV Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end management of plant, machinery and vehicle assets across multiple construction sites. You will ensure optimal utilisation, cost efficiency, compliance and reliability of all equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, allocate and monitor utilisation of all PMV assets across projects.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track movement, deployment and idle assets.
• Control costs related to rentals, fuel, maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and workshop operations.
• Coordinate with project teams for mobilisation, demobilisation and emergency breakdowns.
• Ensure statutory, safety and legal compliance for all equipment.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate rates and monitor performance.
• Lead PMV supervisors, coordinators, drivers, operators and mechanics.
• Prepare utilisation, cost analysis and downtime reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or a related field (preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in PMV or operations management, preferably within the Emirates.
• Proven experience managing large fleets and multiple construction sites.
