Policy Specialist – Healthcare & Public Health (Dubai)

About the role

Reliance Consultancy LLC is seeking a Policy Specialist to support its healthcare and public health initiatives across the Middle East. The role involves monitoring policy developments, building stakeholder relationships, and delivering strategic recommendations to drive impactful advocacy.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on Middle East and national developments in healthcare and public health policies, institutional activities, and industry trends.
• Research new stakeholders and potential alliances, developing strategic engagement recommendations.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Middle East stakeholder database.
• Provide background research for team members and senior business partners for speaking engagements.
• Support outreach activities, organize advocacy strategies, and coordinate projects with medical device, pharmaceutical, and consumer teams.
• Assist internal enquiries on policy issues and public consultations.
• Develop and maintain internal communication platforms such as newsletters and intranet sites.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in political science, international relations, economics, business, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in international public affairs (corporate, consultancy, NGO, trade association, or EU institutions).
• Deep understanding of the Middle East legislative process.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare policy, public health, reputation management, and coalition development.
