PR & Communications Manager

About the role

Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking a PR & Communications Manager to lead the hotel’s public relations and communications initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, you will shape the brand narrative and ensure consistent messaging across all external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders; manage media inquiries, press trips, interviews, and PR shoots.
• Lead community outreach, CSR initiatives, and represent the hotel at industry events and social functions.
• Oversee the planning and execution of the hotel’s event strategy, including activations and partnerships.
• Create and manage high‑quality PR content such as press releases, kits, bios, and invitations, ensuring consistency in tone of voice and brand image.
• Manage external agencies and coordinate internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive communications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or communications within the hospitality or luxury sector.
• Strong storytelling and copywriting abilities.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with media, influencers, and industry partners.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
