Pre‑Sales Engineer – Industrial UPS Solutions

About the role

Gutor, a global leader in industrial UPS systems, is seeking a Pre‑Sales Engineer to support its sales team across the MEA region. The role involves creating and owning technical and commercial proposals for UPS solutions, ensuring compliance with company regulations and delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective offers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercial and technical proposals that meet customer specifications and company guidelines.
• Analyse project specifications, perform costing, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead technical bid clarification meetings and present solutions as the best fit for customer needs.
• Support customers during the FEED stage, qualifying Gutor solutions as the design reference.
• Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the Quote‑to‑Win process and ensure on‑time tender submission.
• Assist project hand‑over to execution teams and provide technical support during project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in tendering, sales, engineering or project execution.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with strong initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering.
• Experience with UPS solution design and battery sizing calculations.
• Computer literacy and proficiency with standard office tools.
