About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Primary ICT Teacher to join GEMS Education’s primary section in Sharjah. The successful candidate will inspire young learners with hands‑on technology experiences, integrating coding, robotics and digital design into everyday lessons.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with the primary curriculum.
- Incorporate robotics, coding and AI tools to develop problem‑solving skills.
- Create digital design projects that enhance visual literacy.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage resources effectively.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in ICT or Computer Science (mandatory).
- Minimum two years of primary‑level teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Commitment to safeguarding and a UK‑enhanced DBS or equivalent police check.
Required skills
- Robotics coding.
- AI tools for primary learners.
- ICT graphics digital design.
