Primary KS1 Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Academies are seeking an enthusiastic Primary KS1 Teacher for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi, starting August 2026. The school follows the UK National Curriculum and aims to provide high‑quality learning experiences within a supportive community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver all areas of the Primary English National Curriculum to a mixed‑ability class.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Plan, prepare and present lessons that meet the needs of the whole ability range.
• Provide support and interventions for EAL learners and students with additional learning needs.
• Record and assess pupil progress using Learning Ladders and the school’s marking and feedback policy.
• Reflect on teaching practice and adjust planning based on student progress.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when required.
• Contribute to school‑wide teaching and learning development through CPD and sharing best practice.
