Primary School Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is looking for an outstanding Primary School Teacher to join its thriving community with an immediate start. The role offers the chance to teach the British curriculum and, for qualified candidates, to step into middle‑leadership responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging primary lessons across the British curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, preparing them for GCSE, A‑Level and BTEC pathways.
• Promote an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
• Potentially undertake leadership duties such as Curriculum Leader, Head of Year, ECA Coordinator or Head of Careers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Primary Education or a related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching primary pupils within the British curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high‑quality learning experiences.
• Passion for inclusive education and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the British primary curriculum, including GCSE expectations.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging lessons.
• Experience with assessment and progress tracking.
