Primary Teacher

About the role

Smart Vision School is seeking a Primary Teacher to deliver high‑quality, engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary curriculum. The role supports the academic, social and emotional development of learners while fostering curiosity, creativity and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons for all primary subjects in line with the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum and UK standards.
• Adapt teaching strategies for Students of Determination, English language learners and children with diverse abilities.
• Incorporate ICT and creative approaches to enhance student engagement.
• Assess and record student progress, provide feedback and produce regular reports.
• Maintain clear behaviour expectations, promote respect and inclusion, and safeguard students.
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and contribute to teaching resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues, participate in meetings and support school events.
• Engage in continuous professional development and reflect on practice.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of primary teaching experience.
• Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills with parents, colleagues and the wider school community.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using ICT for teaching and learning.
