Primary Teacher – Start August 2026

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join The Aquila School starting in August 2026. The role focuses on delivering engaging, high‑quality learning experiences that empower pupils to make exceptional progress within a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess creative lessons that cater to the diverse needs of primary‑aged children.
• Maintain the highest standards of child safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Lead and coordinate CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) activities and contribute to staff training.
• Engage actively with parents, the wider school community and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school‑wide improvement strategies.
• Uphold the Aquila Professional Code of Conduct and school policies.
• Participate in performance management processes for self and peers.

Required profile

• Qualified primary‑level teacher with a range of teaching experience.
• Ability to create engaging, relevant lessons that drive pupil progress.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
• Proactive, flexible, enthusiastic and committed to the school’s vision of “amazing learning”.
