Principal Frontend Engineer

About the role

As a Principal Frontend Engineer at Inception42, you will set the technical direction for the frontend systems that power production AI products and platforms. You will stay hands‑on while defining architecture, strengthening design systems, and raising engineering standards across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve frontend architecture across web applications, shared platforms, and design systems.
• Design and ship production‑grade frontend systems using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern browser technologies.
• Build and scale reusable component libraries and design systems to improve consistency and delivery speed.
• Drive performance engineering across rendering, Core Web Vitals, code splitting, caching, and bundle optimization.
• Guide integration with REST APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and event‑driven backend services.
• Establish testing strategies covering unit, integration, component, end‑to‑end, and visual regression.

Required profile

• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, browser behavior, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Proven experience shipping complex production applications with React and Next.js.
• Demonstrated ability to make architecture decisions across large frontend codebases and shared libraries.
• Experience building design systems and reusable component libraries with clear APIs and governance.
• Solid understanding of SSR, SSG, client rendering, hydration, caching, and Core Web Vitals.
