Principal – HR Transformation

About the role

Mercer is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its HR Transformation practice in the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will partner with senior client leaders to redesign HR functions, drive strategic change, and deliver lasting impact across a portfolio of high‑profile organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop HR transformation opportunities in the market together with senior consultants.
• Lead client engagements, presenting Mercer’s value proposition to executive stakeholders and supporting deal closure.
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of transformation programmes, including strategy, operating model design, organisational design, shared services, process redesign, technology enablement, vendor selection and implementation support.
• Oversee project economics, timelines and budgets while ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
• Mentor delivery teams, guide analysis, and produce actionable insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to thought leadership, methodology development and the regional sales pipeline.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in HR transformation, consulting or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑disciplinary projects for large organisations.
• Strong business development skills and ability to engage senior executives.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership capabilities.
