Principal Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Alpheya, a wealth‑management technology provider, is looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to own the end‑to‑end SaaS operations for its banking customers. Reporting to the CTO, you will be the single point of accountability for service level agreements, incident management, audits, disaster‑recovery and cost control across multiple tenant environments.

Key responsibilities

• Define, monitor and report SLAs for each SaaS customer and lead incident communications and post‑mortems.
• Manage release and deployment calendars, coordinate production changes with bank change windows, and enforce rollback discipline.
• Design and execute disaster‑recovery, backup verification, patching and vulnerability‑management processes.
• Develop capacity‑planning models and a cost‑per‑tenant framework for financial reporting.
• Create repeatable onboarding runbooks to turn new bank go‑lives into checklist‑driven processes.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, SOC 2 and regional outsourcing regulations.

Required profile

• 12+ years of production operations experience, with several years leading multi‑tenant SaaS reliability functions.
• Proven ability to work with senior banking executives and risk teams.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive cross‑functional initiatives without heroics.
