Principal/Associate – Transport Planning & Mobility

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Principal/Associate in Transport Planning & Mobility to lead the delivery of transport planning, traffic engineering and mobility solutions for Dubai‑based infrastructure projects. The role requires acting as the RTA Level 3 Approved Liaison Engineer, ensuring seamless coordination with the Roads and Transport Authority throughout project lifecycles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of Traffic Impact Studies, transport assessments, master‑plan strategies and mobility frameworks.
• Oversee traffic modelling, simulation and analysis using VISUM, VISSIM, SIDRA or equivalent tools.
• Develop integrated mobility solutions that incorporate public transport, active travel, first/last‑mile connectivity and smart mobility systems.
• Act as the designated RTA Level 3 Liaison Engineer, managing submissions, approvals and compliance with RTA guidelines.
• Coordinate transport planning activities with highways, urban planning, utilities, environmental and infrastructure teams.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders, present technical solutions and lead workshops.
• Mentor junior planners, conduct technical reviews and ensure quality of deliverables.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in transport planning studies, traffic modelling and mobility strategy development.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai’s regulatory environment and RTA processes.
• Proven leadership and client‑facing abilities.
• Mandatory RTA Level 3 Approved Liaison Engineer certification.
