Procedures Controller - Cargo

About the role

The Procedures Controller – Cargo will support the creation, maintenance and updating of Etihad’s cargo documentation, including the Cargo Services Manual, bulletins, process manuals and ground operations procedures. The role ensures compliance with international air cargo regulations, UAE GCAA rules and internal policies while collaborating with global airport teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and continuous improvement of the Ground Operations Manual and related safety and security documentation.
• Develop, document and communicate aircraft handling and servicing procedures, including research for new aircraft types.
• Conduct gap analyses to align ground operations documentation with applicable regulations and standards.
• Maintain user credentials for documentation platforms and perform access reviews for global airport users.
• Update and communicate station information changes to airports and stakeholder departments.
• Assist in preparation for regulatory, corporate and industry audits.
• Arrange and deliver ground‑operations training to Etihad and third‑party personnel as required.
• Provide feedback to line manager on policy, procedure and station start‑up issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Aviation Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum five years of aviation industry experience in airline or ground operations.
