Process & Maintenance Technician – PCBA

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Process & Maintenance Technician for its PCBA production line in Dubai. The role focuses on maintaining and optimizing PCBA equipment to ensure high reliability, minimal downtime, and consistent product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) maintenance on SMT machines, reflow ovens, wave and selective soldering equipment, conveyors, AOI/SPI, ICT/FCT stations, and related tools.
• Deploy auto‑maintenance using Digital Work Instructions (Maintenance Level 1) on the shop floor.
• Support MES‑driven production stops and schedule maintenance via the MMS system.
• Implement predictive maintenance tools and Industry 4.0 solutions to capture real‑time KPIs (RTPPM, MTBF, MTTR).
• Act as primary contact with equipment suppliers for rapid breakdown resolution and remediation planning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software issues to restore equipment quickly and safely.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to stabilise product quality, machine performance, and yield.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise with hands‑on experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Proven background in maintaining PCBA production equipment.
• Ability to work closely with operators, shift leaders, and external suppliers.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
