Procurement Engineer – Civil

About the role

Azizi Developments is looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer – Civil to manage civil material procurement for a range of construction projects in Dubai. You will be responsible for sourcing high‑quality civil items, optimizing supply chains, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with international suppliers to procure civil materials such as aluminum, steel, marble, joinery, ready‑mix concrete, and other building components.
• Evaluate, select, and negotiate with vendors to secure cost‑effective contracts while maintaining quality standards.
• Interpret technical specifications from project managers and consultants to ensure purchased items meet project requirements.
• Streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and develop risk‑mitigation strategies for deliveries.
• Implement quality assurance procedures and coordinate inspections to verify compliance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance reports.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 10 years of experience in civil procurement engineering.
• Proven track record of managing international supplier relationships and contracts.
