About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Procurement Engineer to support our lighting projects in Dubai. The role involves managing the purchase of materials, preparing cost estimates and ensuring timely delivery to keep projects on schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Procure lighting materials, accessories and related project items.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quotations and cost estimates.
- Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
- Analyse project specifications and drawings to determine material requirements.
- Monitor project costs and maintain budget control.
- Evaluate and compare suppliers/sub‑contractors.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and maintain proper procurement documentation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or MEP (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of procurement experience in the UAE, preferably in the lighting or electrical sector.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and cost estimation.
- Good negotiation and supplier management abilities.
