About the role
The Procurement Engineer – Mechanical/Electrical will support site operations, maintenance and engineering teams by evaluating procurement solutions, ensuring commercial compliance and managing item equivalency. You will act as a technical liaison between engineering and procurement functions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform procurement engineering evaluations, commercial grade dedication, and item equivalency assessments.
- Provide field and engineering expertise to procurement officers.
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders.
- Contact suppliers to schedule, expedite deliveries and resolve shortages or delays.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of approved suppliers.
- Execute any other related duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
