Procurement Logistics Manager

About the role

The Procurement Logistics Manager will oversee the full spectrum of sourcing, purchasing, logistics and regulatory compliance for vape and tobacco products targeting the UAE market. The role ensures cost‑effective procurement, uninterrupted supply and adherence to local laws while driving operational excellence across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers for devices, e‑liquids, pods, disposables, tobacco‑related products and packaging, maintaining an up‑to‑date approved supplier list.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms and delivery schedules; draft and manage written agreements with major suppliers.
• Ensure suppliers comply with UAE packaging, labeling and warning regulations.
• Create, issue and track purchase orders with 100 % accuracy, obtaining management approval before confirmation.
• Monitor manufacturing timelines, production status and inbound logistics (import), warehousing, inventory and outbound distribution.
• Compare logistics providers, select cost‑effective options, optimise routes, lead times and warehousing costs.
• Implement inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies to avoid stock‑outs or overstock.
• Stay current with UAE customs, excise tax, import duties and licensing requirements; manage documentation for controlled goods.
• Prepare and manage the procurement and logistics budget, analyse cost drivers and launch cost‑saving initiatives.
• Track KPIs such as procurement savings, lead times, inventory turnover and logistics costs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Legal/Compliance and Finance to align supply‑chain activities with business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement through process automation, digital tools and market trend monitoring.
• Mentor junior procurement or logistics staff when applicable.
