Procurement Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the end‑to‑end procurement function for construction projects, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, equipment and services while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project schedules and company objectives.
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition through delivery, inspection and payment.
• Identify, evaluate and pre‑qualify suppliers and subcontractors; maintain a robust supplier database.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and contractual conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and enforce contractual obligations.
• Control procurement budgets, prepare quotation comparisons and recommend cost‑saving measures.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams to ensure materials meet approved specifications and are delivered on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
• 10–12 years of procurement experience in building construction or contracting.
• Proven track record in supplier management, commercial negotiation and cost control.
• Strong understanding of civil, structural, MEP and finishing material specifications.
• Ability to work closely with project managers, engineers and finance teams.
