Procurement Officer – Automotive Industry (Dubai)

About the role

The company is seeking a Procurement Officer to lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for automotive parts and related technical components. The role ensures that materials are available on time, costs are controlled, and supplier relationships are effectively managed to support uninterrupted operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers for price, terms and delivery schedules.
• Create, issue and monitor purchase orders to guarantee timely delivery.
• Assess supplier performance and maintain up‑to‑date supplier records.
• Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse and Finance teams to align procurement with operational requirements.
• Track material availability and proactively address potential shortages.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive purchasing efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the automotive or technical sector.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Current residence in Dubai or the UAE.
