Procurement Specialist

About the role

CAI Architects is seeking a full‑time Procurement Specialist to manage end‑to‑end purchasing activities for its design‑and‑build projects in Dubai. The role will ensure that materials and services are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and meet the high quality standards expected by the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and process purchase orders for all project requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and monitor supplier performance.
• Maintain a reliable vendor network through regular evaluation and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and finance teams to forecast material needs and align procurement schedules with project timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, analyse cost data, and support continuous improvement of sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing purchase orders and core procurement activities.
• Strong background in supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and cost analysis.
• Experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or related industries is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational abilities, and a relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
