Product Manager

About the role

Delnord Trading LLC is looking for a Product Manager to lead the development of a low‑connectivity digital platform for farmers in the UAE. You will own the product roadmap from the initial MVP through a scaled Season 2 platform, working closely with field teams, engineers, and lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap, balancing manual processes and automation.
• Conduct on‑site discovery with farmers, union leaders, and suppliers to capture real‑world workflows.
• Document workarounds and failure modes to create a living product brief.
• Validate onboarding flows on feature phones before any farmer is registered.
• Collaborate with the Technical Lead to scope, specify, and prioritize engineering builds.
• Own acceptance criteria and ensure field‑tested validation before release.
• Manage the lender‑facing dashboard and partner onboarding processes.
• Develop data and risk models, working with the founder to incorporate ML/AI.

Required profile

• 3+ years of product management experience, at least 2 years in a startup or early‑stage environment.
• Proven track record building digital products for low‑connectivity contexts (USSD, WhatsApp, feature‑phone apps).
• Hands‑on experience working directly with end users in the field.
• Strong data literacy with ability to use spreadsheets and basic SQL.
• Arabic fluency preferred and cultural awareness of farming communities.
