Senior Sustainability Engineer – Process Engineering

About the role

The Senior Sustainability Engineer will advise and support the implementation of ADNOC’s sustainability strategy across its engineering services division. The role focuses on data collection, analysis and reporting to drive business results, reduce risk and enhance brand value.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prioritize and advise on sustainability goals and objectives, aligning them with business requirements.
• Collect, analyse and baseline data on energy usage, natural resource consumption, waste generation and flaring.
• Develop and monitor sustainability project plans, KPIs and performance indicators.
• Identify and propose cost‑effective initiatives for energy efficiency, waste water management and emissions reduction.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management on sustainability performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry or Engineering.
• Minimum 9 years of professional experience in environmental sustainability, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of international sustainability standards and management systems.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in a multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Professional ethics and ability to work effectively in teams.
