Product Owner

About the role

The Product Owner is responsible for defining and prioritising user stories in the team backlog, ensuring quality control and that delivered stories meet acceptance criteria. This role is a core member of an agile scrum team, working with one to two scrum teams to deliver product features each iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to shape product strategy, vision and roadmap.
• Review, prioritise and continuously improve the team backlog, coordinating dependencies with other Product Owners.
• Define detailed features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and tests.
• Validate that completed stories meet the Definition of Done and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate regular demos, iteration retrospectives and drive improvements to increase velocity and quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product development or as a Product Owner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner (desirable).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies including SAFe, Scrum and Lean Portfolio Management.
