Product Specialist – Pharmaceutical Sales (UAE)

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Product Specialist to join its Established Pharmaceuticals division in the UAE. You will drive sales growth for a portfolio of branded generic medicines across multiple therapeutic areas, working closely with healthcare professionals and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Organise appointments and meetings with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to address their business and scientific needs.
• Demonstrate and present Abbott EPD products, ensuring clear communication of product benefits.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Plan and schedule weekly and monthly activities, tracking performance against clear KPIs.
• Manage an assigned geographic area, delivering on the sales performance plan.
• Provide consistent market feedback to inform product strategy.

Required profile

• Educational qualification in pharmaceutical or medical science.
• 4‑6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in the UAE market.
• Experience in tender management; primary‑care therapeutic segment experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
