Production Planning Engineer - PPC

About the role

Emirates Engineering, a world‑leading aircraft maintenance facility, is seeking a Production Planning Engineer (PPC) to manage the production planning process for an assigned hangar/area. You will be responsible for pre‑planning, cost control, workflow development and ensuring optimal ground time and manpower utilisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed work‑package reviews to identify the critical path of each maintenance event.
• Perform technical reviews of tasks, including special requirements, dependencies, materials, tooling and cost‑control measures.
• Develop detailed workflow charts, daily task breakdowns and resource plans to minimise ground time.
• Lead initial and final review meetings, secure stakeholder agreement and follow up on identified issues.
• Continuously review upcoming checks to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives within the Production Planning Department.

Required profile

• Proven experience in detailed work‑package and critical‑path analysis for aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to develop and analyse workflow charts and resource plans.
• Strong leadership skills to guide assigned teams and lead review meetings.
• Experience in cost‑control measures and driving efficiency improvements.
