Professor / Associate Professor – Computer Science & Engineering

About the role

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering seeks qualified candidates for full‑time or adjunct Professor/Associate Professor positions. The successful appointee will support accredited academic programmes, ensuring high‑quality teaching, research integration, and curriculum alignment with international benchmarks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering and related disciplines.
• Contribute to curriculum design, review, and continuous improvement in line with Outcome‑Based Education and CAA requirements.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities that enhance institutional performance indicators.
• Support programme accreditation processes, including documentation and evidence preparation.
• Participate in academic committees, quality assurance, and institutional governance activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science or Software Engineering from a recognised institution.
• University‑level teaching experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Evidence of research output in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Experience in curriculum development aligned with international accreditation frameworks.
• Strong English proficiency for teaching and documentation.
