Project Assistant

About the role

The Project Assistant will support the planning, execution and monitoring of retail store projects across the UAE. This role ensures smooth coordination between internal teams, vendors and authorities, and guarantees a seamless handover to Operations once projects are completed.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Projects team in planning, coordinating and executing new store openings, refurbishments and closures.
• Track project schedules, material deliveries, vendor progress and site readiness.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Visual Merchandising and IT to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain project documentation such as drawings, permits, contracts and handover reports.
• Update trackers and prepare periodic status reports on delays and completion metrics.
• Support Project Managers in liaising with landlords, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Conduct basic site visits, take measurements and follow up on snagging or punch‑list items.
• Assist in managing invoices, payments and budget tracking for assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality, safety and brand standards during execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in retail project coordination, site administration or construction/fit‑out support.
• Familiarity with project management tools and strong organizational, multitasking and communication abilities.
