Project Controller – Financial Oversight for Events

About the role

As a Project Controller you will provide reliable financial oversight across BeWunder's event production projects, ensuring budgets, costs and forecasts are transparent and risks are identified early. You will work closely with project managers, finance and other internal stakeholders to support disciplined project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Own financial monitoring and commercial controlling for assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Prepare, maintain and regularly update project budgets, cost plans, forecasts and cash‑flow projections.
• Analyse deviations, identify root causes and define corrective actions with project teams.
• Produce regular project reports, financial evaluations and management updates.
• Support project planning, revenue monitoring, invoicing schedules and purchase‑order reviews.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, providing accurate project data and accruals.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in project controlling, commercial project management or financial controlling.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, cost monitoring, forecasting, cash‑flow management and financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of IFRS accounting principles, especially revenue recognition for projects.
• Fluent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
