Project Development Manager

About the role

The Project Development Manager will lead end‑to‑end product development and commercialization initiatives for both new and existing product portfolios within Agthia’s Food & Beverage business. Working closely with R&D, Sales, Marketing and other cross‑functional teams, you will translate customer and business requirements into successful product launches that drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Existing Product Development (EPD) and commercialization projects from customer brief to market launch.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and according to business and customer specifications.
• Partner with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and other stakeholders to guarantee seamless project execution.
• Translate commercial requirements into structured project plans and coordinate activities across all functions.
• Drive project governance, risk management and stage‑gate execution throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Lead Private Label and customer‑specific development projects, securing timely approvals and launch readiness.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve project efficiency, reduce lead times and enhance cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, Food Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience leading product development and commercialization projects in the Food & Beverage industry.
• Proven experience managing New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects from concept to launch.
• Experience with Private Label and branded product development projects.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross‑functional teams and delivering outcomes on schedule and budget.
• PMP certification or a relevant Master’s degree is an advantage.
