Project Engineer – Bridge Construction & Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our bridge construction and maintenance team in Dubai. The role involves planning, coordinating and supervising bridge works from design through to completion, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise on‑site bridge construction and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate daily operations with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and clients.
• Monitor progress, control budgets and ensure works are completed safely and on time.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submittals.
• Prepare and update project schedules, resource plans and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, RTA and other authority requirements.
• Organise inspections, testing and quality‑control activities.
• Identify technical issues and implement engineering solutions.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and enforce HSE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in bridge construction, rehabilitation or maintenance within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of bridge structures, concrete repair, structural strengthening, bearings and expansion joints.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, RTA and local authority standards.
