Project Engineer – Civil (Construction)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Engineer – Civil to lead and coordinate civil construction activities for our projects in the UAE. The role involves ensuring that all works are carried out in line with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day‑to‑day civil construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor project progress, update schedules and report to the Project Manager.
• Review construction and shop drawings, raise technical queries and manage revisions.
• Supervise civil works such as concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, structural and finishing activities, and ensure proper sequencing with MEP trades.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and assist in delay mitigation.
• Ensure quality control by following approved method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Promote health and safety compliance in accordance with UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil construction project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and safety regulations.
• Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams.
