Project Engineer – Construction (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Project Engineers to join our construction team in Dubai. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects while ensuring work is carried out according to design, safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day‑to‑day construction activities and project execution.
• Ensure works are performed in line with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements and other project documentation.
• Track project progress, schedules, manpower, materials and resources.
• Assist in preparing project schedules, progress reports and technical documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and progress.
• Identify and help resolve technical, operational and coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, quality requirements and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing and authority requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Support Project and Construction Managers in achieving milestones and successful delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of proven experience in construction/project engineering.
• Extensive experience in construction project coordination and site execution.
• Dubai Municipality and/or Abu Dhabi Municipality certification or accreditation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction regulations, authority requirements, building codes, standards and procedures.
• Proven ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, clients and government authorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field.
