Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will apply engineering expertise to plan, coordinate and deliver complex projects that support Ecolab’s water, hygiene and infection‑prevention solutions across the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on meeting cost, schedule and quality targets while ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new and existing projects across all business units, ensuring alignment with project proposals.
• Manage site‑level projects within agreed budgets and timelines, working closely with appointed vendors.
• Repair, troubleshoot and maintain standard Ecolab equipment such as Next Gen 3D Trasar, Purate Generators and polymer‑dosing skids.
• Prepare budgetary cost estimates for new projects and equipment acquisitions.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements through engineering planning and execution.
• Support feasibility studies, manpower and cost estimations, and ensure projects meet local, regional and corporate standards.
• Assist technical teams in developing and integrating manufacturing processes for new or revised products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• 5–6 years of experience in district cooling, chemical, food, industrial processes, iron & steel, aluminium smelting, mining or paper industries.
