Project Handover Engineer - Electrical ELV

About the role

AESG is seeking a Project Handover Engineer specialised in Electrical and ELV systems to lead the preparation of high‑quality Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals and asset registers for construction projects in Dubai. The role involves consolidating technical information, ensuring compliance with regional standards, and delivering clear documentation to support asset management and handover processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compile and coordinate O&M manuals and asset registers for Electrical & ELV systems.
• Gather technical data from submittals, drawings, reports and other project documents.
• Liaise with engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers to verify accuracy and compliance.
• Review and interpret electrical schematics, schedules and specifications.
• Ensure documentation meets UAE, KSA and international standards such as CIBSE and NFPA.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical report writing, O&M manual preparation or asset register development within construction.
• Strong understanding of Electrical & ELV building systems and maintenance principles.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
